Al Bayt Stadium

This image was taken inside Al Bayt Stadium, which is in Al Khor. The best way to get to this location is to drive or take a car. If you are driving, there will be an ample amount of parking spots available, either in the East Side Stadium Parking (25.651758, 51.493398) or in the North Side Stadium Parking (25.657251, 51.487756). Enter the stadium through the main entrance and then reference the GPS coordinates to see where I stood for this shot. For reference, I stood on the west side of the building and took the photo of the model standing across the way on the east side.

You can photograph the interior of the Al Bayt Stadium during any month of the year, as long as there isn't a game being played.

Visit during the day when there's enough light piercing the stadium so you can get a crisp, bright image.

The stadium is huge, so having a zoom lens (>200mm) is a must since you'll be on the opposite side of the seats from your model.

Try to use a tripod at this location. It'll help with stability.

Symmetry is one of the most important aspects of this photo and there so many symmetrical ways you can frame your shot. I chose to align myself and my model with the middle section of the seats.

Adjacent to the stadium is Al Bayt Stadium Park. Explore the outdoor area and take in the sights.
