The drone image of my friend kayaking on Lost Lake was taken from the Lost Lake North Viewpoint parking lot, which is along the Lakeshore Trailhead. To get this perspective, I stood in the parking lot and flew my drone south over the lake.
From the parking area, there's a staircase that leads down to the beach where your subject can kayak.
