High above the Bay, at the top of one of the area's most famous mountains, this remarkable view houses an active structure built in the 1930's serving a very unique purpose.

Getting to this location can be kind of tricky — once you get up Pan Toll Road you'll take East Ridgecrest Blvd all the way to the very end where you'll arrive at a parking lot. From there it’s a short hike. When you walk east from the parking lot you'll notice the trail splits into three, take the left fork up the trail. This path also splits into two but use the right path (if you pass a barn on the path it's the wrong one). Continue up this path to the Fire Lookout and you're there!
