This image was taken along the Mt Hollywood Trail of Griffith Park in Los Angeles. I stood facing northwest, toward the Hollywood sign, to get this view.
You can park in the lot adjacent to the Glendale Peak Trail Head (34.121679, -118.297426) and then make your way along the trail. It will be a little more than a 30-minute hike. Reference the GPS coordinates to reach the exact spot where I took this photo.
Please note that there can occasionally be events in Griffith Park. These events can affect parking or access to the trails, so check beforehand to make sure the trails are open.
