Table Rock Beach

The featured image was taken off a rock on Table Rock Beach. You can park on Table Rock Drive which is off Pacific Coast Highway 1. Walk down Table Rock Drive and go down the stairs located on the left to get down to the beach. I stood on the south end of the beach at the designated GPS coordinate.

You’ll find amazing weather all year round in Laguna Beach, so visit any month of the year!

For similar conditions like the featured image you’ll want to visit with strong light during the morning through late-afternoon. It’s also a great spot for sunrise, to lounge out all day long, and to hang and photograph during sunset.

Pay attention to the tides and wave height, especially if you’re jumping off the rocks.

I recommend a wide-angle lens (17mm) so you can fully incorporate your surroundings.

If you're photographing a model jumping off the rocks, use a fast shutter speed with continuous shooting (burst) so you can capture the action!

Use a polarizer to minimize the glare and bring out the water’s clarity.
