This photo of foliage was taken along the trail that surrounds Tipsoo Lake. To get here, navigate to the main Tipsoo Lake parking lot (46.869837, -121.519827).
After parking, walk east towards the lake and follow the Tipsoo Lake Loop trail, which is a quick but beautiful 1 mile walk around the lake. At the northeast area of the lake, there are tons of these plants that grow along the main trail to photograph.
