With a crystal-clear water reflection, you'll be able to capture an aesthetically pleasing photo of the courtyard at the Museum of Islamic Art. The minimal architecture is highlighted as it's drenched in the late afternoon Qatar sun and the model appears almost as if they're walking on water.

This image of the Museum of Islamic Art architecture and water reflection was taken from the courtyard of the building. This public museum is easy to access and can be reached by public transportation (via Fishing Port; 76) or by car.
If you're driving, I recommend parking in the MIA Parking lot (25.293013, 51.541027).
There is an ample amount of free parking that's available for those with cars under the MIA and in the MIA park, which is next to MIA.
There are also complimentary golf carts that will shuttle visitors from and around the MIA park to MIA.
Head to the entrance of the museum through Museum Park. Then, head up to the roof. Reference the GPS coordinates and you'll see where I stood to get this perspective.

Late afternoon, Sunset
You can photograph this view of the courtyard at the Museum of Islamic Art during any month of the year.
As the late afternoon turns into sunset, the amber glow of the sun will illuminate the building and bring out the water reflections.
Field tips
The water reflection is what makes this photo so intriguing. As best as you can, try to get close to the water so you're more level, resulting in a clearer reflection. Just be careful not to drop your camera!
This area is large, so a wide-angle lens (12mm) will be best to capture the entire space.
Bring a friend with you so they can stand in the middle of the frame. Doing this will create a focal point, as well as a sense of symmetry.
