Mondrian Doha Hotel Mirrored Hallway

This image of the spiral staircase and stained glass ceiling was taken at the Mondrian Doha hotel. You can take a car or public transportation to get here. If you're taking public transit, ride on the Red Line until you reach the Legtaifiya stop and then walk north toward the hotel. Enter the lobby of Mondrian Doha and walk toward your left. You'll have to show proof of a Covid app on your phone and then pass through the small radar detector security by the front door. From there, head to the elevators, which are located by the reception desks. Take the elevator down to the spa level. Then, you'll see this hallway on the way to the men's and women's spas. Note: please be polite to hotel staff and only take out your camera the very moment you are about to photograph.

Given that this is an indoor location, any time of the year works to take photos of the mirrored hallway inside the Mondrian Doha Hotel.

The morning might allow for a bit less foot traffic around the area, but realistically, you can find similar conditions during any time of the day.

Please be polite to hotel staff and keep your camera discreet until the very moment you are about to photograph.

A centered focal point will allow for your subject to appear sharp and it'll also draw the eye to the middle of the frame.

I recommend using a tripod or holding a camera around waist level when taking your photos. It'll be the best level to get a familiar angle to mine.

As best as you can, try to match the leading lines on both sides of frame. The mirrors can be distracting if there isn't symmetry in the photo, so it's important to focus on your alignment.

Avoid showing the "EXIT" sign at the end of the hallway for a cleaner look. If you need to, you can also remove the sign when post-processing your image.
