Hotel Park Fountains view of Downtown Doha Skyscrapers

This image of the Downtown Doha skyscrapers was taken along the edge of the fountains of Hotel Park. The easiest way to get to this location is by taking a taxi or driving and then parking in one of the nearby lots, like Sheraton Hotel Car Parking Underground (25.320537, 51.534092) or Qtel Tower Parking Area (25.322446, 51.537178). Additionally, you can take public transportation (via Ashghal 2; M105). Once you get to Hotel Park, reference the GPS coordinates and head to the north side of the fountains. Position yourself so the Downtown Doha skyscrapers are aligned and then snap your shot!

There aren't a lot of seasonal changes in Doha, so Hotel Park can be visited year round.

The sun sets behind the buildings of Downtown Doha, which creates beautiful lighting conditions and a warm glow of colors as the sun begins to dip behind the horizon.

I think it's best to bring a wide-angle lens (35mm) to be able to capture the height of the buildings since they're relatively close to the fountain.

Try to find an area in the fountain where the water is the calmest so you're able to get the best reflection possible. If there are any ripples in the water, the reflection won't be as clear and you'll lose important details of your composition.

Using the row of palm trees as a leading line can help to lead the viewer's eye through the frame and create cohesion.
