Private Villa Courtyard of Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas

This image of the interior courtyard was taken from one of the private villas of the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas property. Once you enter the hotel, the villas will be located on the left side of the property. You must be staying at one of the villas to access them. If you're coming from Doha, the drive will be about an hour and a half until you reach the hotel. The property is also connected to the Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park. The hotel is not open to the public, so if you're not a guest, please call beforehand and ask permission to access the property. I like to visit the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas in the cooler months, but the property is open all year.

Inside the villas, the walls are high so getting the sun overhead will give you direct, even light. You can also photograph this place later in the day if you want to play with shadows.

A wide-angle lens (24mm) is best to capture the entire courtyard.

Angle your camera slightly upward so you're getting the archway in your shot.

Focus on the symmetry of the architecture at this location. There are a lot of leading lines and if they aren't aligned, you could shoot an imbalanced photo.

This spot is also great for lifestyle shots. Bring a friend and have them model in the center of the courtyard.
