For hotel guests, you're just a quick walk to the waterpark. If you're coming from Doha, the drive will be about an hour and a half until you reach the waterpark. The waterpark is open to the public, so even if you're not a guest of the hotel, you can still visit. Once you're inside the park, head to Lenny's Lagoon to find this view. Lenny's Lagoon in Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park is great any month of the year, but it's even better during the summer months when it's hot outside and you can cool down in the water.

Morning, midday and late afternoon will produce similar lighting conditions. If you want to avoid crowds, I recommend visiting in the morning.

To protect your gear, bring either a housing or an underwater case if you are trying to take photos/videos.

Lenny's lagoon, where this image is taken, drops a lot of water at random times—be prepared to get wet and make sure to have a towel with you.

I thought it was best to shoot this scene with a wide-angle lens (16mm) so I could showcase the entire lagoon.

Incorporating a model into your frame will breathe some life into the photo and create more of a lifestyle shot.

A human subject can also serve as a great sense of scale. And, encourage them to have fun so that energy translates into your photo!
