This image of the pool and beach was taken from one of the private villas of the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas property. Once you enter the hotel, the villas will be located on the left side of the property. You must be staying at one of the villas to access them. If you're coming from Doha, the drive will be about an hour and a half until you reach the hotel. The property is also connected to the Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park. Late afternoon will be the best time to photograph this scene with ideal lighting conditions. The sun will be soft and diffused, rather than harsh and overexposing.

This place is great for lifestyle photos and the villa provides you with so many different angles to shoot! The lenses you'll want to bring should be a wide-angle lens, like a 16-35mm. When I'm shooting at hotel properties, I also carry a 35mm and a 50mm for some lifestyle shots.

Because there are a lot of leading architectural lines at the property, I wouldn't shoot too wide so you can prevent lines of distortion.

This villa in particular had its own private pool, which made content shooting even better. Try to have your model stand or sit in the middle of the pool for a sense of balance.

I recommend positioning your subject in a way so they don't take away from the grandness of the location. Have them be farther away rather than close up.
