Starvation Creek Falls is located inside the Columbia River Gorge, which is one of the most popular (and easily accessible) waterfall destinations in the country. During the fall months, the Gorge changes colors from lush greens to golden yellows and oranges — and from this viewpoint, you're able to capture high-quality images of the water with the falls majestically trickling down the rocky terrain in the distance.

This image was taken along the Starvation Creek Falls trail, looking south onto the Starvation Creek Falls waterfall.
The easiest way to get here is by driving and then parking near the trailhead (45.688501, -121.690290). Follow the trail toward the river (there will be signs) and you'll quickly see the waterfall tucked behind several gorgeous trees.
From the parking lot, it'll take about five minutes to get to this location. Reference the GPS coordinates to see exactly where I stood for this south-facing view.
