This photo was taken from Cascade Head Lower Viewpoint with a drone, giving you epic views of the Salmon River and coastline.
To get there by car, take US-101 S towards Nature Conservancy Cascade Head Preserve - Upper Trailhead (45.063760, -123.979125). You can park there.
Then, follow the trail ahead for 2 miles (1000 ft elevation gain) to reach the headland. You will then see a bluff overlooking the Salmon River Delta and costline. I flew my drone southward from here.
