If you've ever seen the movie "Homeward Bound", you might recognize this waterfall (hint: it's the one Sassy the cat falls over)!
The easily-accessible, 100-foot waterfall is not only famous in the movies, it's also popular among tourists and residents. Hike along the trail that borders the McKenzie River and you'll be met with the thunderous flow and brilliantly green scenery that evokes quintessential Oregon vibes. Not only that, this waterfall is just a short hike away from another formidable spot: Koosah Falls. Both Sahalie and Koosah Falls are part of a family-friendly 2.6 mile loop trail, so spend the day hiking around and take in the natural beauty of the PNW.
