Although the state is filled with endless falls, this moss-covered waterfall in Oregon is one of the most stunning. The pop of green, the smooth cascade of the powerful rapids and the intersecting branches all make for an amazing image — especially with the inclusion of a furry friend in the photo!

The image of Proxy Falls was taken at the base of the waterfall, looking up onto the branches crossing over the falls. The journey to Proxy falls is a short, relatively flat-loop hike that only takes about 20 minutes. The total round trip distance is 1.6 miles.
First, park near the Proxy Falls Trailhead (44.168062, -121.927288), then follow the GPS coordinates to get to the waterfall. While your model walks across the branches, please tell them to proceed with caution and have them wear sturdy hiking shoes — it can be slippery!
