This photo is of crashing waves and palm trees along the Playa Las Palmas beach. From downtown Tulum, this spot is about a 15-minute taxi ride (~300 Mexican pesos), 20-minute scooter ride, and about a 45-minute bike ride. Take your preferred transit down Avenida Coba towards the beach until it dead ends at La Costera. Make a left and go down about 1.2 km until you arrive at Cabanas Hotel 700 (just past Hotel Diamente K); nearby there is an entrance to the main beach—make your way down and you'll see this rock formation protruding out into the water. Enjoy the views!
