This view of the Bacalar Lagoon was taken from the lagoon access area at the Los Rapidos restaurant, which is about 10-20 minutes from the center of Bacalar.
Take Highway 307 (Carretera Federal 307, Diego Rojas Zapata) which runs alongside the lagoon. Los Rapidos is clearly marked along the way. A one-way ride would cost about 250 Mexican pesos from the center.
