Amaharashi Onnaiwa & Tateyama Mountain Range

avatar
@yuma1983
A lone rock tree named Onnaiwa stands on the Amaharashi Coast with the snow-capped Tateyama Mountain Range serving as a picturesque background. Amaharashi Coast has inspired many poets and artists, and it's not so hard to understand why.

This image of the lone tree and Tateyama Mountain Range was taken from the shore of the Amaharashi Coast (雨晴(あまはらし)海岸). The best way to access this location is to drive and park in one of the nearby lots, like the East Parking Lot (36.814255, 137.042598). You can get there by taking Prefectural Road 415. Once you've parked, cross the railroad and walk toward the Shinto Shrine. You'll be able to see this view right away.
