Along Chawanzaka (茶わん坂), also known as "Teapot Lane", stare down the street for an unobstructed view of the cherry blossoms and the top of the Buddhist temple, Kiyomizu-dera (清水寺).

This image of the cherry blossoms and Buddhist temple, Kiyomizu-dera (清水寺), was taken from a shopping street called Chawanzaka (茶わん坂).
You can either drive to this location or take public transportation.
If you're taking public transportation, I recommend taking Keihan Main Line and stopping at Kiyomizu-Gojō Station (清水五条駅). From there, head east toward the temple by taking Gojo Street/National Route 1/National Route 8 ( 五条通り/国道1号/国道8号). When you get to the point where the route intersects with Highway 143, cross the street and continue on Gojo-zaka.
Chawanzaka will be on your right as you pass OYO 44633 Hotel Irodori Kyoto Kiyomizu and you will recognize Kiyomizu-dera at the end of the street. Walk a bit further and reference the GPS coordinates to find the exact spot where I took this photo.
