Bedford Garden Look Up

The featured image is a look up within the Bedford Garden. There are four similar look ups formed by the towers. I stood at the most southeast one which is along Pak Fuk Rd. It’s a residence so you should accompany someone who lives there. I recommend only bringing out your camera at the look up spot as not to disturb anyone. All months are suitable to photograph the look up at Bedford Garden.

I recommend visiting in the late-afternoon when the light’s strong but not too harsh. Although, any time of day should work!

Be respectful of the residents.

By using a wide-angle lens (11mm) you’ll be able to frame the four buildings and more of their floors.

Take your time to get familiar with the area’s leading lines and find your creative midpoint.

Experiment with different angles of the square shape created by the tops of the towers.

Check out the Chun Yeung Street wet market! A tram passes right through it.
