Elevated above the street, this pedestrian bridge offers up an interesting perspective of the multi-colored Nam Tin Building.

This image was taken from the pedestrian path above King's Road in North Point. To get here, I recommend talking public transportation.
You can either take the MTR to Fortress Hill (Exit A) or North Point (B1) and then walk about 10 minutes down King's Road until you see a pedestrian bridge near the curve in the street. Reference the GPS coordinates from the MTR stations to help you find the elevated pathway.
Take the stairs up to the bridge and then face west toward Nam Tim Building.
Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Late afternoon
Since the King's Rd pedestrian bridge is covered, you'll be able to photograph Nam Tin Building during any month.
The best time to go to this location is in the afternoon due to the direction that the building faces. If you go too late, or too early, you'll capture too many shadows.
Field tips
I shot this at 86mm, with a 70-200mm lens. I chose 86mm so I could keep as much of the building façade in as possible. This type of zoom lens will also help to give a compression-type effect to the photo.
You'll want a medium to high aperture so you can capture all the detail in the frame — around F/7-F/8 should be fine.
Keeping this shot straight is the most critical part of its composition. Make sure you line up the verticals as best as possible and then tweak it in post editing.
I recommend waiting for a tram and some people to add some life to the scene.

I recommend taking the tram down the road to Quarry Bay where the famous Montane Mansion (monster building) stands. It's a popular Instagram spot that's definitely worth checking out for some more photo opportunities.
