Even though I might be biased (I was born near this location!), I can without a doubt say that anyone that visits this spot will see how magical it is. It's a little French paradise with seafood, beautiful beaches, fishermen villages, dunes, ocean, surf and so much more. Have your camera ready to capture the beauty that awaits!

This image was taken from a sandbank in the middle of the Bay of Arcachon, just in front of the Dune du Pilat.
To get to this location, you'll have to take a boat from Cap-Ferret or Arcachon. Check the hours on https://www.bateliers-arcachon.com/welcome and choose "Banc d'Arguin" as the destination. Once you're on the island of Banc d'Arguin, reference the GPS coordinates to see exactly where I stood for this view of the sand dune and beachgoers.
If you don't want to rely on public transportation, you can also rent a private boat.
