Night
You can photograph the Zhiye Temple in Guangfulin Ancient Relics Park during any month of the year. The scene won't change since Shanghai's weather is temperate.
For similar lighting conditions, you'll need to visit at night when the lights of the temple are on.
Field tips
Bring a tripod if you're shooting here at night and I also highly recommend shooting with a lower shutter speed to best photograph the temple's lights.
Make sure to have at least a 16mm lens in order to capture the entire temple. If your lens is too narrow, then you won't be able to fit the whole structure in your frame.
Get as low to the ground as possible so you can capture the reflection. If possible, you'll want to be at eye level with the pond in front of the structure.
Have your model stand directly in front of the light in the middle of the temple to create a sense of symmetry, as well as to enhance their silhouette.
