I took this photo inside the Light Space Xinhua Bookstore in the Pearl Art Museum at Aegean Place. I suggest taking a taxi or an uber to this location. If taking a taxi, show this to the driver: 吴中路1588号, 近虹井路 and they will know the way.
You can find the bookstore by walking toward the back of the Aegean Place mall. Go past the giant geometrical structure in the center and then continue on, passing by the green and pink diamond entrance to take the escalator or elevator to the seventh floor.

Tips
When to go
Best season
All months
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
The bookstore can be photographed any month of the year.
For lighting conditions, I suggest visiting during the late-afternoon when the sun shines through the sky dome. You can also find similar conditions in the morning or mid-day. Make sure to note that holidays may affect opening hours!
Field tips
Try using a wide-angle lens to capture the entirety of the bookcase.
A tripod will also help to capture a clear shot since the lighting can be dim inside the room. Don't forget to lower the ISO for a nice and crisp image.
Let your model be creative! In my image, the model used a book as a prop to create a more unique photo. Use the space, have fun and make the shot totally your own.

Do nearby
The bookstore, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, is connected to a gorgeous gallery on the eighth floor of the building. The Pearl Art Museum is a multifunctional space with exhibitions and events from artists around the world.
If you're traveling with family, head to the rooftop and check out the Ewin Sky Farm — a space for children to try out their urban farming skills!
Located inside the connected retail mall, you won't have limited options for shopping on the fourth floor. Walk around and you'll see that entertainment and dining options are also available.
