This is unlike any other area in the Palouse. Steptoe Butte is one of the most popular destinations in this part of the PNW and people fly from all around the world to see the view of the rolling green hills in the spring.

Driving directions from Seattle (about a four and a half hour drive):
- Follow I-90 E and WA-26 E to Scholz Rd in Whitman County
- Take Hume Rd to Steptoe Butte State Park
