Your hike at Norway Pass Trailhead will be a rewarding one. As you walk, you'll see a new growth forest still filling in from the 1984 eruption. It's worth exploring this trailhead, especially for the sweeping view at the end: Spirit Lake and Mount Saint Helens in one frame.

This photo was taken at Norway Pass, located in a unique part of Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
Park your car at the start of Norway Pass Trailhead and then follow the 2-mile hiking trail. The trail is accessible by NF-26 but keep in mind that there are road closures in the area during the winter months.
There's a trail junction near Norway Pass, I encourage exploring around it, but in my experience, the best views are found by following the trail straight ahead. Follow the path at the right of the junction and continue around the peaks.
