This photo of Mount Saint Helens was taken from an overlook on Johnston Ridge.
The best way to get there is to drive to Johnston Ridge Observatory, park, navigate yourself to the coordinates, and face south towards the mountain.
To get to the Johnston Ridge Observatory, take the Spirit Lake Highway (Highway 504). Note that the highway is closed during the winter months. Once you have arrived at the observatory, you then need to follow the path outside the parking lot.
