This photo was taken from the bridge at Sol Duc Falls, looking onto the falls' river gorge.
To reach Sol Duc Falls, turn south off of Highway 101 onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Road. Continue on this road all the way to the end, just past the resort and campground. There will be a big parking lot at the end of the road (47.955297, -123.835870) and the trail to Sol Duc Falls will begin there.
The trail to Sol Duc Falls is pretty straight forward, with only one split where you'll need to stay to the right. Overall, the hike is about 0.8 miles with 200 feet of elevation gain from the start to the waterfall and bridge where this photo was taken from. As you walk along the trail, reference the GPS coordinates to find the exact spot where I took this photo.
