This giant sandstone rock is the namesake of one of the most popular beaches in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and one of the best spots on Lake Powell. Lone Rock Beach is not so hidden, though. It's quite popular as it's one of the few spots where you can drive directly to the water’s edge and camp on the shoreline.
