Did you know that shades of yellow are thought to make you instantly happier when you see them? This location proves that theory to be true as the burst of color painted on pillars creates a cheerful backdrop for a portrait shot.

This portrait photo of the yellow pillar and model was taken outside of the store called Tin Sing Goldsmiths Pte Ltd. I stood on the sidewalk of South Bridge Road and shot toward the pillar for this perspective. The easiest way to get there is to take public transportation and then walk.
By MRT:
- Closest station: Chinatown (via Downtown Line or North East Line)
- Head southeast on Upper Cross St toward South Bridge Rd
- Turn right onto South Bridge Rd
