Corniche Promenade Staircase view of West Bay Skyline

This image was taken along the Cornice Promenade facing the West Bay skyline. You can get there by taxi such as Uber, Careem, Karwa or by car. You can park your car at this parking lot (25.3081529, 51.5190772) or get a taxi to the place calls Orry the Oryx Statue. Once you arrive in the area, keep a look out for the Orry the Oryx statue—the exact location of my viewpoint will be about 200 meters north of there.

You can visit the part of the Corniche Promenade for great views of the West bay all months of the year.

To catch the beautiful and dreamy light crossing in between the buildings of the West Bay skyline, visit during the morning.

Be mindful of the water—don't get your camera wet.

By using a wide-angle lens (35mm) you'll more easily be able to frame the length of the edge's steps as well as the cityscape of the West Bay ahead of you.

Consider having your model stand or sit near the edge of the steps—it adds a daring spirit to the image.

The West Bay water serves as a great backdrop contrast with your model. Try positioning them that way in your frame so they don't obstruct the view of the skyline in the distance.
