When to go
Best time
Morning, Mid-day, Late afternoon
You can visit the installation at Oxygen Park during any month of the year, although I recommend avoiding the summer months due to extremely hot temperatures.
Daylight will provide sufficient lighting to capture similar conditions.
Field tips
I shot with a 46mm lens, but I recommend shooting even wider if you want to incorporate more of the balloons.
For a more unique perspective, I think it looks best when you don't include the ground floor of the park. In doing so, you'll create a more aerial and dystopian feeling with the balloons "floating" in the sky.
Aim to position yourself so the balloons are staggered, which will help to create some depth in the frame.

The park is divided into different areas with multiple features, like undulating walking tracks, picnic tables, children’s play area, several lawns, hills, water features, multi-use sports pitches and courts and seating areas.
Because of the different walking paths that have varying levels of accessibility in the park, it allows for a unique experience every time you visit.
Between Oxygen Park and Education City Mosque is the Qur’anic Botanic Garden, which is a space that exhibits and conserves plants mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and the native flora in Qatar.
If you're hungry, you can grab a bite to eat at the student centre next to Oxygen Park. The food is very reasonably priced and delicious.
Qatar National Library is not only a place to borrow books, it's also a place for the community to gather, learn and grow, with a coffee shop and restaurant.
The Education City Gift Shop has an eclectic collection of gift items with iconic and culturally relevant designs. It hosts products produced by local artists, students, and institutions with social missions.
