This seaside Oregon park is one of my favorite coastal locations to visit during stormy weather. There are spectacular views that allow you to watch giant waves crash against massive sea stacks and if they hit just right, the waves crash can reach over a hundred feet high. During a good storm, the wind will be blowing sea spray in every direction and it's an experience unlike any other — you don't want to miss it!

The image was taken at Shore Acres State park with a view of the ocean waves crashing up against the rocks. This location is accessible and very easy to find, just enter "Shores Acres State Park" into your GPS and it will lead you to the main parking lot (43.324216, -124.386067).
Head west toward the ocean and you'll arrive at the viewing point from where I took this photo. I find that it's helpful to reference the GPS of this location in satellite mode on your maps for this particular spot. I forced north for this view.
