The most famous waterfall in Oregon is quite a sight to behold, rising 611 feet over the forest floor and flanked by moss-covered trees. The astonishing beauty of the falls are made even more charming by the Victorian-era bridge and paved pathway that leads to this iconic landmark.

This photo was taken at Multnomah Falls, along the pathway leading up to the main viewing area at the base of the waterfall.
To get here, navigate to the Multnomah Falls Recreation Area (45.577619, -122.116979), right off I-84. Try to park in the parking lot in front of Multnomah Falls Lodge on Historic Columbia River Hwy. If not, you'll need to park across the street at overflow parking which costs $5.
You'll see the waterfall from either parking lot once parked — just follow the path towards the waterfall. Just before you get to the main viewpoint, turn right to stand at the area in front of the bench and lamppost and face towards Multnomah Falls.
