I took this photo of Lower Multnomah Falls from the viewing area at the base of the waterfall, looking up at Benson Bridge.
After parking at Multnomah Falls Recreation Area (overflow parking may cost you $5), follow the path beneath the highway and continue past the Multnomah Falls Lodge until you reach the lower waterfall viewing area.
Directions:
- From Portland, take the I-84 eastbound
- Take exit 31 (left-side exit ramp) and park in the designated Multnomah Falls Recreation Area parking lot
On your maps app, you can reference "Multnomah Falls Recreation Area."
