This image of White Sands in New Mexico was taken on the dunes near Backcountry Camping Loop Trail.
The best way to get there is by car. Take Highway 70 if you're coming from Alamogordo (1 hour) or Las Cruces (30 minutes). You will see the signs of the national park along the highway.
After paying the entrance fee and entering White Sands National Park, drive about 6 miles km (10 km) to the Backcountry Camping Loop Trail parking area. Check the coordinates to find the exact spot where the photo was taken.
You can also walk around in the dunes in the area to explore other compositions—you will find super cool ones easily!
