Artist's Bluff is an iconic New England landmark. Looking out over the picturesque Franconia Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, this rocky outcrop is an essential spot for anyone road- tripping through the Northeast.
In the fall, watch the vibrant foliage get let up by the soft morning light at Artist's Bluff. You can surely expect crowds at this time of year, so make sure to plan your trip accordingly!

This drone image was taken near the Artist's Bluff Lookout at Franconia Notch in New Hampshire.
The address for where you will want to park is 2750 Profile Rd, Franconia, NH 03580. Take Exit 34 off of Route 93 N, turn left onto profile road and then park at the Cannon Mountain RV Park (44.177969, -71.696462).
Once you've left your car, exit the parking lot to the right on foot. About 200 feet down the road, you'll see a sign for Artist's Bluff. Follow the trail up, staying to the right at the first fork. This is a quick, but steep, hike for the most part. For those who are experienced, it's possible to do this hike under 15 minutes.
When you get to the top, take in the views! For a similar shot as the one I took, have a model stand out toward the front of the rock, but be careful not to get too close to the edge as there's a steep fall off the end. Fly your drone directly up and get the whole scene, including your model, in the frame!
