Grafton Notch is one of Maine's 32 beautiful natural parks, and it's easily my favorite. The surrounding mountains and hills turn the area into a fog hot spot during the fall season, which keeps me coming back again and again, year after year!
As the sun rises in the east, it's absolutely fascinating to watch the warmth light up the low fog in the valley. There are countless ways to capture this, and in my opinion, it looks best when taken with a drone.

This drone image of the cloud inversion was taken at Grafton Notch in Newry, Maine.
Grafton Notch is easily accessible via Maine 26 highway. The coordinates that I've given identify the pull-off where I launched my drone to capture this photo at sunrise.
