At an impressive 80 feet tall, Bash Bish Falls is one of my favorite sites that Massachusetts has to offer. The split falls drop down into an emerald pool of water, which gently cascades down into Bash Bish Brook.
The rocks surrounding the base of the waterfall give photographers a diverse array of options when it comes to composing their imagery. I always bring a range of tools and lenses to this location so I can capture falls from a distance, as well as up close.

While hiking to the waterfall is an enjoyable experience that I recommend if you have the time, parking at the lot on the Massachusetts side (42.115033, -73.491687) yields a much quicker hike down a set of stairs to a viewing area. From there, you can continue down to the base of the waterfall where you can unleash your creativity!
