avatar
@yuma1983
The Thousand Toriis (also known as "gates") sets the scene for a stand-out photo location in Tokyo's Hie Shrine. The rows of compact red beams bring a pop of color to the shot, and with a model, you can experiment with lifestyle and portrait-style photography.

This image was taken inside the Thousand Toriis in Hie Shrine, which is located in Chiyoda City, Tokyo. The easiest way to get here is to take public transportation and then walk. The three closest subway stations are Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, Tameike-sannō Station, and Kokkai-gijidōmae Station. After exiting any of these three stations, reference the GPS coordinates and walk up toward the shrine. You'll see the rows of red beams immediately upon arrival.
