Opened in 2020, the Kadokawa Musashino Museum is a fusion of an art gallery, culture house, museum, and library. This enigmatic design house, founded by one of Japan's largest publishing companies, draws visitors from all over the world thanks to its stylish library.
The enormous Bookshelf Theatre dwarfs you with its 26-foot-tall bookshelves that surround the space. Shelving roughly 50,000 titles, the shelves are stacked to the skies with the KADOKAWA collection, as well as many other titles and private collections.

Using public transportation, the museum is a 10-minute walk from Higashi Tokorozawa Station on the JR Musashino Line. Take Tokorozawa Led Manhole Street and head northwest once you get out of the station. You will see the museum to your left.
By car, it is an eight-minute drive after exiting the Tokorozawa Interchange on the Kan-etsu Expressway.
The Bookshelf Theatre is located inside the museum. All you need to do is purchase a ticket to enter. You can get your ticket at 2F General Information Counter or online( https://tix.kadcul.com). It is recommended that you buy your ticket online, especially if you want to get a day pass.
