Perched on the precipice of the Adriatic, Polignano a Mare is a vision straight out of a Mediterranean dream, with white houses that could belong to a Hollywood movie set. The old town, a cascade of white-washed buildings, clings to the cliffs as if carved by the hands of the sea itself. The golden hour bathes the town in a warm glow, casting a spell that makes the sea sparkle like a scattered diamond trail.
As you hear the sound of the waves hitting the cliff, you'll breathe in the warm, Mediterranean air and get an authentic experience of Southern Italy. Here, on the edge of Via Gelsomino, near the famed Grotta Palazzese, every view is a postcard, and every breath a sip of salty serenity

Reach this cliffside paradise by renting a car from Bari, the capital of Puglia. I took this of the Polignano a Mare old town just near the viewpoint Grotta Palazzese on Via Gelsomino.
Polignano a Mare is located in Southern Italy and in this region, neither public transportation nor cabs are common. The best way to get here is to rent a car or carpool. Taking E55 Highway from Bari will get you there. You will need to leave the highway to turn into Contrada Pozzo Vivo and you will be very close to the town. Once you get there, you can find many parking lots nearby, such as Polignano Central Parking.
Google Maps is pretty accurate here but sometimes, you might encounter streets that it doesn't recognize. If you're unsure, I recommend asking locals or checking the signs around you.
Note: Make sure to check the wind before you fly your drone. This area can be quite windy, and I don't recommend flying if the wind is too strong - your drone would immediately fall into the sea.
