Road to the Fort of St Ivan view of Old Town Kotor, Bay of Kotor & Church of our Lady Remedy

This image was taken on the Road to the Fort of St Ivan, with a northwest view of Old Town Kotor, Bay of Kotor and the Church of our Lady Remedy. Park at one of the many public parking spaces outside Old Town Kotor. After parking, take a short walk to the entrance of Old Town. It can be a bit of a maze with many small streets, but you'll want to make your way to the back left side of the walled Old Town. Then, look for the relatively famous “crumbling arch” and make your way though it. Once you pass through the “crumbling arch”, the stone path will get steeper. You'll arrive at another arch exiting the town walls and from there, you'll be asked to pay a small fee of $5-$7 — now the hike starts! After 45mins (depending if you stop to take photos along the way), you should arrive at the church. Head to the first bend along the Road to the Fort of St Ivan above the church for this particular view. While you're walking from the church, reference the GPS coordinates and you'll find your way to the exact spot where we stood. Pro tip: Asking a local if you get lost is a good idea! They can help to point you in the right direction if you tell them you want to see the Church of our Lady Remedy.
