Among all of the alluring qualities of Chicago, one of my favorites is finding lesser-known river views, like this shot that's taken from Wolf Point West. The scene is enhanced by massive ice chunks in the river that enhance the seasonal effects of the chilly winters in The Windy City.

The best way to access this location is to take public transportation and then walk. By public transportation: - Closest station: Merchandise Mart (Brown or Purple Line) - Head northeast toward N Wells St - Turn right onto N Wells St - Turn right onto W Merchandise Mart Plaza - Continue onto W Wolf Point Plaza - Head south toward the river
