I love coming to this location because it's completely underrated! A lot of photographers like to avoid Waikiki since it can be swarmed with tourists, but I find it too interesting not to shoot. From this viewpoint, you'll see people tanning, playing beach volleyball, surfing and jumping off the wall into the water.

This image was taken along Waikiki Wall, looking out onto the ocean.
Parking in Waikiki is tricky and can be expensive so I usually try to find parking at the Honolulu Zoo public parking lot (21.271478, -157.821132) and then walk directly west to the beach. Reference the GPS coordinates as you approach the shore and walk out onto the Waikiki Wall for a similar perspective.
