The first thing that comes to mind when people think of Hawaii is beaches and palm trees, but the cityscape is worth seeing, too. With all of the hotels and infamous Diamond Head in the background, this aerial perspective of the skyline and harbor provides a jaw-dropping view of Waikiki.

I took this shot of the Waikiki skyline, Ala Wai Boat Harbor, Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head mountain from the harbor next to Ala Moana Bowls. I recommend parking in the lot (21.281723, -157.840477) and then from there, you'll have to walk a few hundred meters west toward the harbor.
When you launch your drone, try flying directly above the Ala Wai Harbor, which is located next to Hilton Lagoon, and then position your drone so it's facing southeast with a view of Diamond Head in the distance.
