This drive along the southeast side of Oahu is the beginning of a scenic coastline that goes on for miles and miles. The view of this dormant volcano visually dominates as you continue on the highway, taking in the viridescent greenery that surrounds.

This image is of Koko Crater and Kalaniana'ole Highway, and I took off my drone from Lanai Lookout. It's the first lookout after passing Hanauma Bay. Drive east on Kalaniana'ole Highway (Highway 72) and then Lanai Lookout will be on your right.
From the parking lot of Lanai Lookout, I launched my drone and flew south over the highway, with a north-facing view of the crater.
