Located on the north shore of Kauai, Haena is one of the last beaches before the start of the scenic hike, Kalalau Trail. I chose to fly my drone overhead for this view of land and sea, which resulted in an unforgettable capture of the coastline during a mesmerizing sunset.

This drone photo was taken from Haena Beach on the island of Kauai. There's really only one way to get to this location and that's from Kuhio Highway.
If you're staying in Princeville, it's a short drive, but if you're staying in Lihue, it'll take you about an hour and fifteen minutes drive on the highway.
Once you're driving on Kuhio Hwy, reference the GPS coordinates. They'll lead you to the Haena Beach. You can park just off of the highway near Haena Beach Park (22.219648, -159.565960). Then, walk north toward the shore and launch your drone directly up for this perspective of the beach and mountains.
