Göhrener Viadukt & Zwickauer Mulde River (fall)

The drone image was taken facing northeast looking onto the Göhrener Viadukt bridge and Zwickauer Mulde River from the side of the road along Göhren. To get to this location, you'll need access to a car. You can park your car at the provided GPS location and fly your drone from there.

To capture the deep auburn colors of the seasonal fall foliage, I recommend visiting in October or November.

You can find similar lighting conditions as long as there's daylight, but my suggestion is to visit in the morning when there are less people around the area. Try to visit on a day that is bright so you can capture the reflection of the bridge in the water. On a darker day, the reflection won't be as visible.

Before flying a drone, always check and follow local regulations and permit requirements to make sure you're flying in a safe zone.

Experiment with your perspective of the viaduct and mulde (trough). Get close to the architecture or fly your drone farther away for a wider view. Try a few different angles and get creative! I chose to frame the bridge going across the entirety of the image.

If it's a bright day, try to compose your shot where the bridge prominently reflects on the water.
